Yes, trouble... none of possible filesystems helped...
Have you tried rfs, which is native Samsung filesystem.

Only reliable way to get root on a D5xx or D5xxx is buy a TV and hope the firmware is really old. Old enough that serial input is unlocked.

Update : there is actually a version 1005.1
I read elsewhere on the forum that some versions of T-MSV4DEUC the have shell unlocked but I dunno on which ones. If someone knows I'm interested.
