And now to the other topic:

geo650: everything you say seems logical BUT...i havn't any access to console or shell, so I can't try anything of your tips, or am I wrong??
OK. That's good.

To become things much clear I would like to see your full SamyGO.sh script, if you have it somewhere outside. I understand your script calls telnet daemon before injecting, right? If not, then of course I cannot help. All I am writing about is ca. 1-milisecond-access-window between starting telnetd and running injectso.

Thanks. It looks promising. I have 2 questions.

Question #1: Will you be able to telnet your TV if SamyGO.sh would be looking like this:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh

# Enable Telnetd
mount -t devpts devpts /dev/pts
telnetd
?

If yes, I still see a chance for recovering. Not big but worth of trying.

Question #2: do we need to make an attempt to fix it or Samsung service is going to do it?

Hi!

Maybe they are reading this, hihihi.
OK, we'll try to do something. Check private message for a moment. I am going to send you some instructions.
Give us at least one try.

I tried it a hundred times but it will not fit...
It's a pity. :(

I assume you did all things right. Try also to run my app first, then turn TV on after you will see "attempts left: xx". But you probably tested this already. Try also ping command to test if you have right IP address. Of course, it may be also unable to answer so quicky.

I have no more ideas.
So the only way is now to force Samsung service to speed up their actions.
