There is a folder/directory under ftp://192.168.1.2/dtv/usb/sda1/.. called OCAP_LSV which contains only one file named _idinfo

This is all after a very fresh installation of SamyGo with all the 4 files disabled.

because the shares are not password protected and on previous install did that one but with no effect.

1. make your shares password protected
2. same username and password must be set in the 04_04_samba.init script
3. dont edit the init scripts with windows editor
4. dont't know from where the directory OCAP_LSV came from

I have used notepad for editing. it is still a text editor with no formatting, what difference does it make?

Very many thanks. It is sorted and I can see and access shares on PC but not laptop. I think it is because I disabled the default share on laptop a while ago. Other think that I have noticed is that I had use simple file sharing on pc to make it work.

Next step is to get back the HD channels that I have lost due making some changes on type and ch table.

Does any one have the default values for type and ch table for a UE32D5520?

The options available on type are: 32A6AF0C, 32A6AH0C, 32D6AF0C, 32D6AH0C and 32L6AH0C
The options available on ch table are: NONE, PBA, SUWON, SESK, SEH, SERK, SDMA_AU SDMA_NZSDMA_SG, SEIN, SAVINA, SIEL_C, SIEL_C, TTSEC, TSED,TSE, IRAN, SESK-T2, SUWON-T2 and INL.

Update: I have got my HD channels back. Set the ch table to SUWON and type to 32A6AH0c.

Next steps are to:
1. sort the 404 error when samygo starts using autorun from SmartHub->Settings->Service manager->Ticker Autorun
2. Auto shutdown of of SmartHub.

can some one help me please? I was searching the forum but could not find anything.

p.s. how about to create non existing usb mount point, then perhaps you don`t need any physical usb device?

As written somewhere else already, this is only partial solution... the existence of index.html file results in a very light grey overlay on the TV picture and you still have to press 2x Exit on the remote to get rid of it.
