I have BD ht-e5500w, too. i was going to downgrade the firmware. but the version of the firmware on your server is 001090 and my BD has the lower version which is 001006. Should i go ahead to flash the BD? I only want to have samba access to my share drive from BD, can i have this fuction enable once i flash your 001090 firmware?
Thank you for your hard work.

Is this then a hard no on getting past a hardware vendor messing with a product I have bought and own outright? There should be laws against companies messing with products owned by private citizens like this.
