Re: How to remotely turn off the TV?

I've also written a PVR Manager, also in Tcl/Tk (but due to some libraries I need, it is for Windows only).
You can edit the meta-info, the chapter points and thumbnails, the favourite and locked flags, etc... It can also copy the files to your local PC (via FTP), or even decrypt them on the fly with DRMDecrypt.exe (but you need a working Samba share and DRMDecrypt has no "decrypt AF" option), and optionally replace the decrypted file on the TV, then turn the TV off and shutdown the computer. (It was to turn the TV off that I originally needed your help. That gave me the idea to write also the remote app.)
In fact, I've written that PVR manager because Destroi was unable to decrypt the large files on the fly, and it was not possible to edit some important things with the SamyGo PVR Manager (such as the chapter points). I wanted also a single app to manage the meta information and to copy/decrypt/delete the recordings. On the other hand, my app works probably only with some specific TV series, firmwares or models. I don't know exactly. And now, the new version of Destroi can decrypt the files on the fly, so my manager is not as useful. But since I've written it and it can do some things that no other tools do, I'll release it anyway... in some days. It works already very well, but I need to test it somewhat more carefully.
