Is there any JTAG connector known in that players? The Firmware needs to be flashed on there anyhow while assembley?
Maybe there is a hidden BootP or some kind of FTP like the Linksys-routers use .. ?!

did you try exlink connection? You will only get debug. I am not sure if you can get more from that board.

From the forum it looks like that will give me some sort of debug-mode, but nowhere I could find something that may give the option to push some firmware into that small bastard .. :/

I will do some testing with some tools, maybe it is possible to get a bootp-signal or some sort of open sockets at a certain point of the bootup.

But that won't happen during the next few month cause I have not much time left ... :(

1014 does additional checks to the updateserver, so it recognizes samygo servers as false servers and does not accept the upgrades avaiable on them.

and afaik up to this point there seem to be no way around if the only option of updating/patching is via smarthub. You should read up on exlink and debugmodes and prepare to do some more than just punch in a few ip addresses ...

Well ... Samsung does put firmware on the chips so there is a way ... but nobody knows how at the moment. But if you read and contribute to the forum and do some reasearch with your device we all might be able to get a result, that will function on all devices ...

After the newest Firmwares it is not possible to use DNS Hack!
