In my case it says
SamyGO - Samsung LED TV PVR Recording Decrypt (w64)
Cannot open 20131205193013.srf file
rm: 20131205193013.srf: No such file or directory
and then it stops. What am I doing wrong here?

I don't know

You didn't provide enough information

Probably you don't have "wget" or something like this

Read the source

@sectroyer, I propose that not all your users are capable of "reading the source"
I know very little about Linux, but I would imagine that you would be able to either
list all dependencies with instructions on how to comply with those .. with links to needed packages, and so on ...
Or .. offer a complete package with all dependencies resolved internally during installation.
I know karo2204 to be a very nice and decent person, and I do feel you are being a bit too casual with her here

She has donated to the SamyGO community, and she has been doing all the research you could ask of a "normal" user.
Could you perhaps do *ME* a personal favour, and help her "all the way" to success. Thanks in advance !
Apart from that, - GREAT WORK, man !

Okay to rephrase my previous post. I didn't want to offend anyone. However I cannot post link to "every dependency" since on Linux there about 15 different package managers and you have to use packages for your system. Moreover this script is just basic bash script (list of commands). Reading such sources is one of Linux basics:) For my patch no compiling is required it is enough to just have all of the required commands:) in other words the script itself is a list of dependencies:)

@sectroyer,
Great, - that statement actually contains a very valid reason.
Now we just need karo2204 to tell us what brand of Linux she is running,
and we would be able to compile a list of packages she would need, or
simply figure out what package is malfunctioning, and how to replace it.
Simple for a linux-guru, - right .. sectroyer

Now simply we don't need to compile anything but just let her figure out what she is missing. On most Linux distributions you just install binary packages. As I have said previously (in most cases) no need to compile anything for my script to work. It uses very basic stuff. Moreover by stating that there are 15 different package managers on linux I meant that I don't know/use most of them

@sectroyer,
Thanks for your statement (again).
I am now entirely sure that you have supported this issue to the full extent of what CAN be done.
Now we just need karo2204 provide more details, and have her Google a bit for the correct packages for whatever
command fails on her system.
Karo2204, the ball is in your corner now. Tell us more, and I am sure we can figure this out
Thanks Sectroyer !

Thanks guys for trying to help me.
Actually I am not using Linux but Mac and I have installed Macports like it was suggested before.
I changed the script to the IP Adress of my TV and the usb.
I have a F6500. What else do you want to know from me?
I am actually looking for recording on my NAS but I also have an HDD attached to my TV and I am recording on it now until I have figured out a solution. The script would help with the last solution....

@Karo2204,
I believe we would be looking for some sort of log or a description of the command that fails, if possible.
How do you know it fails (haha) ?
Error-message of some sort ?
Some stage of process that you can identify to fail ?
Or does everything report success, except you can find no output ?
Please be as verbose at possible
