Extended? What extended?

On USB sticks you cannot run patches/scripts that's what I cann tell you for sure. Not sure what else you want to "extend" ?

if you patch -noexec in kernel (this was done in F series with some modules, i think it exists as silent feature in E series as well...), then yes, you can run script from there. But for this goal (extension to USB) you have to change start scripts in rootfs...
C series doesn`t have any limitations according USB

mmmh I'd like to believe you but I'm sceptic about free space... I never had less than 400mb free (470mb now with no widgets installed except SamyGO and 'Test2') and I've got frequent updates (that's also true sometimes I don't have them for weeks

)

Maybe you have them when you run out of space

Anyway I had "one update" and after that no update for weeks

And if your update stops at some percentage you can be quite sure it failed because of lack of space

Updates are always finishing (according to progress bar and final popup). Only times they hadn't finished were when I tried to block Samsung domains to avoid them (generally ends up in smarthub reset/unroot

).

Popup always lies... You can see in the exlink cable debug that after some percents installing, it just finish (but not really installed)...
