Same problem even with unpluged root usb.....
Is there any way of reset samsung video player or deleting cache ? Error log ?

yes,
but if you play video without root stick pluged in tv = urooted tv you have the same issue?
My tv gets stuck and restarts by itself only if i play video for first time ? Second playback and next playbacks working fine.
If i change something in title of file,
samyext4.img file is same? = 1.5 years old?
I use samygo hack over 1,5 years.

hi @ all
i rooted the tv and downgraded to a lower fw. everything worked great. but now i have the problem, that when i remove the root usb-stick and restart the tv, the whole smart hub is freezing and is very slow. when i reconnect the usb and reboot the tv, everything works again.
so, do i have to let the usb plugged in or where is my problem? would it help to uninstall the root?
tv: ue60f7080, fw 1124 (tried also with 1120.4, 1128.1 and 1132.4), i read something about watchdog, so watchdog is also off

You stll can empty /mtd_contents folder to clear media player cache, but not sure it will have any effect.

Factory reset, might be needed after downgrade. Otherwise simply don't unplug USB

Only "don't unplug USB" remains then
