I've done everything) Wait long 10 min and try wait 20 min, and after 2 hours

Root access is obtained only once.
Step SamyGO work on my TV :
9.When it finishes it will ask to reboot TV.
10.Reboot TV and wait 5 minutes.
Then I see SamyGO Virt.USB but do next

• 11.Power OFF TV and UNPLUG USB.
  12. On PC check USB. You should see following files:
  
  insmod_qca.sh OR insmod_bcm.sh
  network_type_info.txt
  wifi_vendor.txt
  SamyGO/vermagic.txt
  
  13.Make a backup of those files, they WILL CHANGE AFTER NEXT BOOT and you WILL NEED THEM LATER!!!
  14.Double click patch.bat (Linux/Unix/Mac OS X users should use patch.sh) wait for it to finish and make print screen of output.
  15.Connect USB to TV
  16.Power ON TV and wait 5 minutes (try wait 10 - 20 min).

SamyGO no started and no SamyGO Virt.USB and acceses telnet/ftp/etc. should work.

To once again work necessary to make steps

7.Launch ONLY ONCE InstallSamyGO-H from SmartHub (if it doesn't appear reboot TV). Sometimes it is necessary to connect USB WHILE TV IS OFF!!!
The widget will automatically finish installation (No need to push any buttons).
9.When it finishes it will ask to reboot TV.
10.Reboot TV and wait 5 minutes.

Ehh When you DO SEE SamyGO Virtual USB. Simply power off TV. Wait 5 minutes and power ON. Wait 10 minutes Simply should work

You also HAVE to disable Watchdog in service menu or you'll get permanent random unexpected crashes.

For now, it's mandatory to use Wi-Fi connection for root to work. LAN support will be added later.

This rooting method requires fat formatted usb disk.

You need to switch your TV to Wi-Fi connection.

It seems that having both a recording device AND the rooting USB attached helps a lot.
To "create" a recording device: Shut down TV. Unplug usb with rooting data. Plug one of your free USB disks. Start TV and once it loads hit REC, it will ask if it can format the disk. Format and record something then shutdown TV, attach SECOND usb (the one with rooting data), start TV

Here are the steps to make it work:

Unpack attached SamyGO.zip to FAT USB
Unpack attached InstallSamyGO-H.zip to FAT USB
Download samyext4.zip from HERE (Image 25/09/2015)
Unpack samyext4.img and copy it to SamyGO directory on FAT USB
Now you should have FAT USB with two folders: InstallSamyGO-H and SamyGO
Connect USB to TV
Launch ONLY ONCE InstallSamyGO-H from SmartHub (if it doesn't appear reboot TV). Sometimes it is necessary to connect USB WHILE TV IS OFF!!!
Done

"it will ask to reboot TV" doesn't mean it WILL reboot, but that it will EXPECT YOU to reboot.
If you performed only half of the procedure, don't be surprised it doesn't work...

Either it's greyed out because you're on latest firmware and you'll need to downgrade to "ungrey" it, or you did not access EXTENDED service menu but only "normal" one.

first i like to say thanks for this forum, and special to sectroyer and bobsilvio .
I manage to root my Samsung UE65HU8505 , firmware was 1280.8
All working perfect after downgrade firmware to 1150.6 including oscam
I was thinking to writte how i make this to work ( maybe other people find this helpful ).

I swich watchdog off in service menu.( do not play with service menu if you do not know what you are doing )

unpack all of them and copy samyext4.img to SamyGO. on InstallSamyGO-H I replace on javascript folder the file Main.js with bobsilvio moded file main.js
I copy the two folders ( InstallSamyGO-H and SAMYGO ) on root of 32gb usb 3.0
I Recorded first something on another usb stick and swich off the tv, inserted usb 3.0 and swiched on tv.
Iaccesed my usb 3.0 from the smart hub and the proces was started after 5 seconds without presing any buttons on my remotte control.
after that I just press enter on my remote control:

and Bingo!!!!
tv was rooted.

I succsesful downgrade firmware from 1280.8 to 1150.6

I installed oscam and THE LIGHT IS ON !!!!!! ( working like a charm )
If you respect all from first post ( posted by sectroyer is working !!!! (otherwise you just craing here that tv is not working no more))

I DID EXACT THE SAME THING AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. FINALLY ROOT ! - now Ill do the firmwaredowngrade and OSCAM

Ah ok.. maybe i am really only in the normal one.. because i did not the factory 3 speed thing.. i have non of the phones an and the sw does not support my tv.
i will block the url in my router..
