I know that this is the section for H-series but I'm so disappointed about skype app removal from smart hub and I'm looking for weeks now for a working solution to get it back I have a UE40D6500 with firmware 1013, I have access with ftp to file level but all tests to reinstall skype with files supported here failed. Skype app is available in smart hub and I can start it but its loading and loading and nothing else.
So my important question is if somebody here can confirm that skype is still working on a Samsung TV with login and video call as it was?
Second question is why is my skype app hanging on loading and not starting?
Does somebody a solution for D serie or my model?

Any help is highly appreciated! I tried already to get support in the d-serie topic but without any answer.

Probably a silly question, but skype app can be re-installed on a non-rooted Samy TV ?

Skype for TV with fw T-MST14,T-GFS (with Skype_2014_140807, GOLFS_X14_4.400_empSkype_VER_4.140408 and GOLFS_NT14U_X14_4.400_empCamera_VER_4.150303)
Skype for TV with fw T-NT14U (with Skype_2014_140807, NT14U_4.400_empSkype_VER_4.140523 and GOLFS_NT14U_X14_4.400_empCamera_VER_4.150303)

which one best suits for HU8200-series?

skype app CAN be re-installed on a NON-ROOTED TV.
Find out your firmware (Menu->Support->Contact Samsung) and select the desired version.

I think firmware is T-GFP8, so probably T-GFP version
