you don't have to touch anything except config.xml - add ticker on. No need for skype at all.

Here is a small present for those who has firmware T-MST10PDEUC <= 1030.0. (might work on higher firmware versions too)
A way to make Autostart and SKYPE working together.

1. Follow instruction on the first page!
after all is working we can continue...

1. login to TV via telnet
2. modify /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO/data/run.sh
you need to hash these lines.

#cp /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO/data/libSkype.so /mtd_rwcommon/moip/engines/Skype/libSkype.so
#cat <<EOF>/mtd_rwcommon/moip/engines/Skype/AutoStart
#EOF

3. modify /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO/config.xml
you need to change ticker settings

change <ticker>n</ticker> to <ticker>y</ticker>

4. Delete Skype.
5. Restart TV.
6. Press SmartHub , Tools and navigate to --> Settings --> Service Manager --> Autoticker -- SamyGO-E
7. Install Skype
8. Restart TV again and enjoy

This is were I came from - and it did not work. SamyGo was loaded but no FTP/telnet, but Skype working.
Then I tried to remove the Script-Lines which will replace the Skype Files - same result - no FTP/telnet but Skype working

When I just modify the config.xml I will get a working FTP/telnet but Skype is no longer working/autostart (because of the lines in the run.sh of SamyGo Widget)

Is the changed libSkype.so only required for autostart or for rooting also? As far as I can see the Widget only starts the ftp and tftp process, and some other stuff.

I did a complete reset and started again I created a new USB Drive with the original SamyGo Installer (no modifications done by me)

1.) SmartHub reset to default
2.) Power Off -> Power On
3.) Installed Skype
4.) Start Skype, logon to Skype - set Options to automatically start and logon Skype
5.) Power Off
6.) Connect SamyGo Install USB Drive
7.) Power On
8.) Start SmartHub
9.) Install SamyGo Widget (no errors, everything OK)
10.) Power Off -> Power On
11.) Skype no longer working (as expected)
12.) Telnet + FTP is working

so far so good - and now I need Skype to work.....

i think you're using wrong encoding for mofied script.

So I reinstalled SamyGo according to my steps above - Telnet + FTP working then i did as you suggested:

1.) removed Skype
2.) reinstall Skype
3.) Telnet + FTP still working - Skype not working
4.) Power Off + Power On
5.) Telnet + FTP not working
6.) Manually started SamyGo Widget
7.) Still no Telnet + FTP
8.) Starting Skype -> Skype seems to launch SamyGo -> Telnet + FTP working
9.) Skype hangs on "Loading"

Is this because the run.sh script replaces the Skype Libaray? How do i get skype running?

remove skype library from widgets dir?

No success - i also needed to remove the data.zip file because the library was extracted everytime the run.sh was starter.

Skype still hanging on "Loading"

just figured out that the Camera is not working (starting the Camera Widget) I don't know if this is important
