It is working now! Had a few problems with freezing in the beginning, but after a few tries I have root most times. Not everytime, but that is okay for me now. Don't want to stress out about that again
Thank you for your help!

Hello and thank you for your hard work.
It worked for UE55 F9090 until today...
Firmware T-FXP9DEUC_2221.0
Now i get a message like:
What is wrong???
Greetings from Germany.. Dietmar

I don't speak german

Anyway a solution for all problems is often to run SamyGO-F app once again

Also you may encounter many problems if you don't disable OTN Support

@aleksuss
depends on your skills. You can always turn into a brick if you do not follow the "how to" guide.

Ok. 3 questions else.
1. Is this hack make some modification in firmware or hacked fw loading from USB ?
2. Can I restore to original firmware if something going wrong ?
3. Ultimately if i get brick. Can I restore it via service center or TV will die forever ?

1: No modification on Firmware. You only get access to root privileges with ftp, telnet and some add on like smb nfs oscam etc...
2: yes, you can remove the rooting widget and the TV is back as original. No FW modification is applied.
3: if you get brick there is nothing you can do. But this is a very unlikely situation with this widget that resides in USB plug. if you end up with a bricked TV it is because you "played" with telnet and FTP and this is what we mean when we say ... it depends from yoru skill.

One simple way to brick TV is to unplug it from the power while updating the firmware:)

You used sentence "disable updates" which sounds very similar to "disable updates" from normal menu:) So just to clarify the ONLY WAY to really "disable updates" is to disable OTN Support in EXTENDED SERVICE MENU. Without it rooting is a waste of time and money:)
