Hi Arris69,

for some reason, it is not allowing to attach my log in my previous post. But the logs helped me to understand and fix the issue.

looks like vusb and samba is getting loaded sooner than my wifi is getting the dhcp ip address. I put a sleep for 20 in vsub.init, it is all good now. (but yeah a bit delay, but it is ok).

Still my two other issue not solved

1) telnet password after starting SamyGO extension -- i have no clue now. This is kiling me, as I cannot get to telnet for more debug.
2) Windows 7 - Tried uninstalling windows live essential, but still no progress. But atleast I can try couple of more stuff.

Thanks,
sank81

akgis wrote:My probleam is trying to put the windows sharing so I can bypass DNLA and be able to forward MKV video files

My TV is a B650 copyed the extensions to a USB stick "SamyGO-All-Extensions-v0.03.6-r12-for-T-CHU7DEUC-20110103181054".

They run from content and then a virtual USB device pops up, but when I go to the media player>video all I see its a empty folder called "UPNP" and not the content I had shared previously. I followed the PDF on how to disable the homeNetwork stuff, also edited the "04_04_samba.init.dis" with the windows account data, media streaming stuff from win7 is off and so is windows live essentials

I have access to the TV via SSH atlest I can see the login and password pronts, I dont know the credentials thou.

Thansk for reading and keep up the good work
ssh user is

Code: Select all

 root
password is

Code: Select all

SamyGO

you also need to rename the file

Code: Select all

04_04_samba.init.dis
to

Code: Select all

04_04_samba.init
and pls use also the bugfix for leonid package http://sourceforge.net/projects/samygo/ ... lications/ (simply extract over SamyGO directory)

akgis wrote:thanks for answering so fast arris69, but getting frustrated cause I can get this to work.

I did what you said renamed the samba.init and applied the bugfix but if I apply the bugfix file by copying the files over the old directory I then dont see the SamyGO extensions on the content librarby, isnt it cause the "clmeta.dat" has 0 bytes?

I also tried copying only the "etc" of the bugfix file directory but then I lose the SSH connection to the TV
yes you need to replace clmeta.dat with an old one (deleted it from archive today, little misstake...)

so download and extract extensionspack (r12) to usb-pen
download bugfix for leonid and extract over SamyGO dir (overwrite all files except clmeta.dat)
then change/rename what you need
