Network is cat6 cable'd.
I try'd to keep my second hard disk active (by browsing foto's on it) As i dont have sleep mode on for any of my hard disk's in my pc. But it's oke now.
Minor note, the decoded file had no extension. So i made it a .ts file manually.
Just for the fun of it, you could try PASV-mode ... Its a checkbox in settings .. on the "other settings" page.

Please check log .. With a bit of luck the extension is mentioned in the "DRMDecrypt job" line.
I will try PASV-mode if it will happend again.
Is there a readme file of PVRDecoder?

I will try the options to realtime decode / record to any devices. But i am scared to click on it because i will first understand what is does before i install something on my tv. :D

Sorry, no readme, no faq, and no warranties :-)

You should decide for yourself weather you have the balls and the motivation
to play around with "hacker-tools", or if you want to live in "safe-mode" with the restrictions that apply to that.

If you want to "do more and have more capabilities", you choose to leave the safe comfort-zone, and thus
choose to take the risks that accompanies the rewards.

If you reflect on this a bit over a cup of coffey, and read the posts in this thread you will discover that
this entire thread (even the entire forum) is based on EXPERIMENTING with your TV :-)

You simply have to choose if you feel like joining the "hackers" ranks, or stay within the borders of Samsung "rules".

When all that is said, You have my personal guarantee that the PVRDecoder is benign, and would absolutely NEVER attempt
an operation on the TV that havent been tested VERY thoroughly and deemed safe by several testers.

To bring you the actual understanding of whats going on when you load libPVRtoTS.so would require me writing a BOOK.
Short story .. all .so basically modify the software Samsung originally placed in TV, by patching, or hooking into needed routines.

This happens in the TV?s RAM, and is thus reverted back to factory standard once the TV is powercycled.

You should be very safe ..

Oh, and 99% of the "risks" you took when you rooted TV .. If TV is OK now, the PVRDecoder will not change that ;-)

Dear Community,
Thank you for all your help.
I have UE46F6430 FW: 1111.1
I rooted it (Skype, develop)
I have access via FTP (FileZilla), I can see /dtv/usb/sda1/CONTENT folder
Telnet works with putty on Port 23
I use Windows 7 /64 Ultimate
Firewall and Virus Scanner are deactivated
When I start SamyGO PVR I can find my TV on 192.168.10.2, when I try to connect the program says:
Unable to determine your TV's telnet port. The PVR decoder cannot function correctly without this.
Can someone help me with this? I also tried from another PC, same result. But telnet port 23 is open.

it's very safe to do all thoses "hacks" and i always thrust in developers.

I'v done the samygo hack for my UE46D6200 (with rusamungconnected to d65000, and then with samygo hack to enable the PVR)
now for my bedroom i'm done the same for my F series (a bit different to hack but same pleasure to use more power of the TV)
and for me, it's necessary to be able to manage the PVR file : what to do if the hard disk/usb stick/TV goes down ?
loose all the PVR files ?
no !
so thank you Lordbyte and all developers to offer us your free jobs.

i must tell the same for my android phone... open systems, and no more closed systems !

Hi. I have a Samsung UE46F6470 with Firmware 1116.0 I don't have root. With UFS Explorer on PC I could copy the recorded Video files from my external storage. Is there a way to decode the videos on PC with Windows 7 64-bit?

If there is no other way and I root my TV have I any disadvantages?
Can I unroot it if I must let it repair over warranty?
