Would just like to say, installed SamyGo to my Samsung UE46F6320 LED TV
Also would like to point out there is no developer password on this tv, Username is develop & password is nulled out (blank can't enter anything)
On latest firmware 1116.0
Now what to do with a rooted TV?
is there a root username & password? its so i can change folder permissions.

Is root access still possible with UE55F8090 and firmware 1113.3?
A chart for all TVs would be a nice idea?
Obviously to get root access (with loosing Skype) is still the only way for using the PVRDecoder?

Installation
1. Install skype widget and start it once (check if it starts correctly)
2. Make sure Skype is set to autostart, before closing Skype again.
3. Download archive
data and extract it "as is" to root of fat32 USB, attach to TV.
4. Install widget
SamyGO (

7. Power off and power on TV

It`s ok, just remove SamyGO widget. That`s all.
Important
Skype won`t work. This is known bug and here is no choice - either root access or working skype. Waiting for any suggestions ...
This widget allows you to get root access to TV. No SamyGO extensions yet (will be added in future)
Works not on all firmwares. Confirmed and works on: f5300, f5500, f6400 ver 1003.2 .. and f8500 ver 1110.2
Does not work on: f5300, f5500, f6400 ver 1102.1, 1104.2
If everything works,
don`t upgrade firmware. Further firmware upgrades probably will close backdoors...
Please post your success and fail stories (collecting working firmware/model list...). Thank you much!
Guys, I rooted my 65F8000 , have ftp access, but while trying Telnet (with Putty) it open the window and still on >shell. and does not react and accept any commands (like cd , starting scripts etc). I want to start my OSCAM server, but via Putty (Telnet) I cannot do it. Any help?

SamyGO is installed. the TV is rooted. OSCAM files are transferred to the TV via ftp but the Telnet window is still showing just >shell and cannot access the OSCAM file to start... Anybody to advise if can make Telnet to F8000 TV?

why do you telnet? make autostart Oskam via ftp.
