So I've just tried to root the new firmware version T-MST12DEUC_2000.2 on a F6270.
Looks like it doesn't work anymore and Samsung has already fixed this method in the new firmware release. The SamyGo-F app just won't show up in the Smart Hub.
Here's what I've down so far:
Used an FAT32 formatted USB stick which contains the folder SamyGO_data with the samyext4.img file in it as well as a second SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix folder. Tried connecting the USB Stick both when TV is powered off and when having navigated to the "more apps" section. While the USB stick is properly recognized by the TV (shows the media search options), the SamyGo-F app does not show up in the app listing.
Anything we might try?

Don't say it "doesn't work" ( I don't know if it does

) until you make SamyGO-F app appear in Smart Hub

Appearing has nothing to do with rooting

Besides it's your fault you updated the firmware at all

I'm not complaining at all but am just trying to help. I have access to three identical TVs and I use one of the F6270 for testing purposes.
If the SamyGo-F app isn't showing up and this isn't root related - than what might I be doing wrong here?!
The two folders SamyGO_data and SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix are both in the root of a Fat32 USB Stick. Is that right? Or does the content of one of those folders actually have to go into the root folder?
I've tried resetting the Smart Hub, tried plugging the USB stick in while the TV is off or in the "more apps" screen. Does it matter if there's another usb stick connected to the TV? Or which USB port I use?

Files should be in separate dirs. you might try different USB and try both FAT and FAT32. One more way is to pack contents of SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix Into a zip file and installing over the network:)

Already tried to push the app using the SmartHub Widget Manager. But all I get is an installation error and the "TV Apps Security" message.

You tried to push it using the prepared zip probably

you have to unpack it and pack ALL the files from the folder itself:)

Ah, you're right!! Let's see if that helps...
How about the remaining SamyGo_data folder? That one still goes onto the USB stick?

Update: I've rezipped the files inside the SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix folder. But again, I only get the security warning.
