Getting back to the topic at hand:
On the old SmartHub-based TVs you could sniff out the URLs used by the system to manually download apps on your computer. You could than copy the downloaded apps to a USB stick and directly sideload the apps by just connecting the usb stick to the tv.
That way I've been able to download apps from different regions (say US and UK for example) without the need to root the tv.
Is that still a possibility on Tizen as well? Can we sniff out the download-urls the tv uses to download the app to a pc?
