Since I don't have B530, you needed to find correct value yourself.
Try all of them and look effect what happening on ExLink output. Write the result here for updating wiki pages

You needed to copy your exe image to usb device. Don't wait exact command from me since I have no B530.
If you understand the WiKi instead of writing here, it is too easy to make it.
identify your EXE device by "
df" (without quotes) command that shows in the wiki.
After you can copy your EXE Partition to USB device for inspecting at PC with command of
Code: Select all
cat /dev/tbml8 > /dtv/usb/sda1/exe.img.orig
Thats all. You don't needed to start TV after. Turn off and on...
for learn BASH command shell structure you can read any bash tutorial.
Please search "Bash tutorial" at google.
There is also very detailed explanation of "mv" command in those tutorials. That is start point of linux and will make you learn and understand what you are doing.

Pins 1, 6 and 9 on a DB-9 serial port are for modem control signals. I'm sure you will only need 2,3, and 5. In fact, the pin-out details are given in the Wiki.

There is a BIG picture of cable pinout. Why we put that picture there for? I also give direct link to that picture at my previous posts.
I deny to help you namjankan since you resist to not reading wiki.
All required informations are available at my posts and wiki. You are alone from now...

You needed to try each combination to drop linux shell from Exlink serial interface.
And TV not needed to be off mode for dropping linux shell, I preffer to connect while TV is powered ON.
If 'debug' keyword not working, might be you needed to try that number at wiki...
We can't help you further if you can't get in to drop the linux shell. Thanks.
