WoW. Congratulations twisted89. You well done.
Do you want to make a wiki page for this hack with photos?
I believe it will be really informational for the community.

yeh sure, I'd be happy to make a wiki page for the hack

Quite busy over the weekend so I'll try and get round to it on Monday.
So far I've only encountered one problem and thats the on/off led indicator on the front of the TV. When the TV's on it constantly flashes as if its starting up, its really not a big problem but I guess it might annoy some people. Guess I could always stick something over it if it starts to get on my nerves.
Also I've successfully installed hacked firmware (2004.1) on the TV along with telnet access so hacked firmware works fine.

It is normal for B650 series. My TV standby flashing when it's starting up but stop flashing after picture came

Sorry what I meant to say was that even when the picture appears and the TV is fully on the LED indicator flashes whereas normally it would be a solid red light.

Congratts, twisted89
We`re waiting for some kind of how-to. Normaly red light flashes until TV boots up and then stops blinking = no red light at all. Solid light goes up only in stand-by mode.

I think your new B650 mainboard has some personality problems

.
Just imagine: you live happily married to the nice 40" 100Hz panel. Then, one day: you wake up, and you cant' feel your FRC circuits on LVDS connector!
No wonder it's calling for help - it probably thinks it just got abducted or something

.
But, seriously: I guess some of the exeDSP thread[s] in B650 firmware are not able to complete the boot process without proper FRC detection. If there are no other obvious problems, this is most likely quite harmless. You can probably ignore it (or you can simply cut 'standby LED' wire in IR & Function cable, if that blinking is getting on your nerves too much).

haha, yeh it's probably wondering where it is! tbh it doesn't bother me that much and doesn't seem to be causing any other issues so I'll probably leave it for the moment.
As for adding this to the wiki, does anyone know how I would go about doing that? I created an account on the wiki but it says its restricted and wont let me edit it.
Also do you know if swapping out the T-CON board with one for a LE40B652T4WXXU TV will work and allow me to run at 100Hz? or is that restricted by the actual panel?

Also would it be possible to swap out the T-CON board with one from a LE40B652T4WXXU TV and it would work and let me display at 100Hz? or is that restricted by the actual panel?
