Are you sure you just changed "model" value? Or did you played also whit "type" option (also under "option" menu) ?

I asked it, because i found this link http://www.avforums.com/forums/lcd-led- ... qwxxn.html and he is having upside down pictures because of changes in the type field...

Exploring the extended SM, i found an interesting option that maybe can solve you problem.

First of all, you need to enter SM and then unlock the extended options by pressing Factory and then 3speed button.
Then, go to "Control --> Config option --> HV flip" and set it to "Off" (mine is Off, you can try switching it) and restart your TV.

I tryed to enter in the service menu of my UE26D4003BW and I change the MODEL. Yes this can activate the video from usb, but the image is upside-down and colors are reversed. please hepl. some guys solved the problem?
