Hi there,
This used to work perfectly for me until today. Recently I updated the firmware on my ES6900 series TV, but I don't know if that has anything to do with this.
Basically, I can't install the SamyGo widget anymore. The latest version from here: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=5859&p=41931#p41931
I have downloaded this to a USB stick, followed the instructions but nothing happens, no widget appears on the smart hub. Previously the widget would appear and could be started.
(I do have Skype installed)
Any ideas?

You missed the rule not to update the Firmware...
It could be that Samsung closed the door for SamyGo with the new Fw.
Downgrade again is not possible.

So, is there any other way to access this on the ES-series? I would like to add other apps to my smart hub, so I need a way to ftp into the TV.

If you "only" what to install APP (files are on your PCs Harddisc) then try this:

I found after an update i lost SamyGo too and would not reactivate after re-install. What I did was reset the Smart Hub and started from scratch. It all worked againfluffi444 wrote:You missed the rule not to update the Firmware...

Cool, I reseted the Smart Hub, and now I can install the SamyGo widget.
Only catch is that it still doesn't work since the firmware update. Has there been any new news since that?
