I donated but I still can't get to the page you linked to in another thread. Are there clearer instructions on how to get this to work?

Hi. I'm new around here.
I have a HT-F4500 with the following firmware: HTB-F4500WWB-1020.5
It shipped with the previous firmware (don't know which one exactly) and it did the update before I knew about Cinavia and that I should disable auto update.
I did test with some downloaded blu-ray rips and the player is indeed Cinavia "infected". Interestingly, the DVDrips for the same movies don't trigger any Cinavia messages.
So, is there a hack for this firmware? If yes, how will it be installed? I want to donate to the project to get the hack but I need to know if it's quite simple to install.
I'm willing to test to help out but, unfortunately, I don't know much about linux and rooting (I did manage to root and play around with my Nexus 5 but only by following tutorials).
Many thanks.

You install the root from the usb just by launching the app. It's not very complicated. Worse parts are:
- getting the app to appear (may require multiple tries)
- setting up usb properly (just follow the instructions

)

Hi there,
mine it's a HT-F4500 with update 1021.1 and cinavia. I don't know if it's what you are looking for.

Well I don't need testers for this particular thing (although I still need F testers) but for you current root should work if you are interested in making it more stable on F please let me know
