Isn't there an independent application that you install on television and which knows how to record broadcasts and store it directly on the USB in a normal unencrypted format?

For H? Not for now but coming soon. Will be for donors anyway, as well as already available rooting method, mandatory to be able to use it (and PVRdecoder).
