You should, as long as other channel is on the same carrier...
And I'm almost sure you won't make appear a second hardware tuner by changing a service menu value. :)

Do you mean the "value" of the TV you should buy to have two built-in tuners? No idea :D

In other words, in your opinion there's a real addictional tuner circuit in 6500 model that is missing in 6200, and not is just a feature that it can be enabled via software.
It is so?

Exactly, some "software" tricks are often possible but from a wooden ass, one will never make a racehorse :)

You right, but I was thinking that sometimes in electronics it is more convenient to produce a unique chassis/board and enable some features via software, than to have two different products to be managed.
So, a second tuner to be enabled, e.g. changing the [tuner type] parameter, it was been not too hard to gamble for my imagination...
Your answer is just a jeopardy, or are you sure about the hardware schematics are different?

It depends on features, with such reasoning manufacturing only high-end models then limit them by software would be enough (not sure of economical reliability though, even if less models to produce :) )

It's up to you to change that value, but just be aware that you can easily brick your TV by playing with that.

Only guessing what seems consistent, sure I could be wrong...
You still can open your TV and look if there are 2 tuners inside, or an empty space labeled "TUNER2" ;)
