D6500 3D Resolution NOT FULL HD

Hi there,

Really appreciate this forum topic! I own a D6750 and using the test patterns mentioned have confirmed my tv is also not full hd 3d. I rang Samsung UK, the chap didnt really seem to get what I was going on about (apparently mentioning v resolution drops to 540p is too technical) but ended up setting up a job with one of their designated repair services for me. Their senior engineer has apparently advised that the main board/motherboard? needs replacing as well as the wifi hub so has ordered them and will fit them. Does anybody have any idea whether this is likely to solve the problem i.e. if this chap is wise to this series 6 fault and has ordered a series 7 board etc would this likely fix the problem? have a horrible feeling they havent grasped the full situation and will simply fit new series 6 components. Thanks in advance for anyones help!

It sounds unlikely that this will resolve the problem unless the components are a revised edition.
