Strictly speaking, there's no way to "make it happen in the background", but if you don't use virtual USB at all, you can disable its script. Connect to TV by FTP and rename /mnt/etc/init.d/02_04_vusb.init to 02_04_vusb.init.dis

Yes, libSTFU, as advised . That's also what I do, even if I now prefer to skip vusb and mount shares to a physical USB...
Greenhorn is also right, using SamyGOrc to send EXIT key at the end of vusb script can do the job as well.

Hi I installed sammygo over usb, clicked once in smarthub after installation turn tv on/off, but I can't access tv over ftp or puttytel. It says connection refused.

I have ue40es7000 , 2009.2

What oscam do you suggest for this tv?

Edit: I manage to connect to TV over puttytel but I can't connect over filezilla I get error: Invalid character sequence received, disabling UTF-8. Select UTF-8 option in site manager to force UTF-8.

All I did was, updated skype, turn off TV, put again usb with sammygo, turn on tv, went to smart hub and clicked install samygo (I already had installed samygo), on installation screen I pressed red button to fix problem, then exit, turn off tv, turn it back on, and I went to skype to see if it was working. It opened skype but there was loading whole time so didn't work, then I went to my pc and tried to connect with filezilla and puttytel. Puttytel worked but filezilla has some problem (guess with folder characters) as I wrote already.



Edit 2: Ok I managed to connect over filezilla as well, when you type your ip address from tv, port field should be empty.

I installed oscam for my tv I used libOSCAM_9584_komplett.zip.

- How do I know if samygo and oscam are working? I see under sources on TV (virtual usb)?
- Is it normal that when I switch on tv menu from cable to satellite, to wait like 20 sec to change it?, and tv shuts off and turns on automatically. Before it was switching immediately.
- Is there any button or button combination so I don't have to go every time on menu and switch from cable to satellite?
- Does anyone have/know any test servers where I could test how it works?
- How do I coonect to oscam? I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... AQQEs9hJ2A and I see that guy is connecting through his pc, I tried the same but I can't do that.

Hello everybody,
im very new in samyGo, i've seen samyGo some years ago, and now i want to try it.
I have a UE46ES6100 with FW 1040.2 installed.
After my first try, it doesnt work, so i've made a factory reset (Info Men? Mute Power ...) At this time i have disabled OTN Support too.

But after the Factory reset it wont work too :/
Skype is installed, if i plug in the USB Stick and open the Smart Hub i see Install Samy Go E -> done
Reboot TV -> Smart Hub -> Samy Go -> SamyGo installed! Press return to exit

Ping to TV is OK
Port Scan -> 80, 443, 6000, 9090 are open
No FTP, No Telnet or other Services activated

May i do something wrong?

It seems you're doing nothing wrong, it should work on your TV with that FW. What you can try is to launch Skype once after installing it and before installing SamyGO. No need to do a factory reset again, just remove Skype and SamyGO widgets from smarhub then restart from scratch. Also reboot TV after SamyGO installation.

I have done so.
Befor i've done the factory reset, i make a smart Hub reset and make a new installation of skype.
I startet skype after installation -> power off -> plug in USB -> Install Samy Go

May a SmartHub Problem from a SmartHub Update? Or Skype Version is updatet and blocked?

I don't think so, at least nobody reported such problem except those having latest firmware (2000.2). Is Skype still working after SamyGO installation?
