You can't chmod by FTP, Telnet only.

i do the Cinavia removal but it dosnt help for me ... ok i try it again
but its not a bd player its a tv and the cinava.txt is 0 byte on usb

I believe i got my BD-F6500 to root, but now it can't read any discs as i keep getting the dirty disc error (i tried with a bunch of different DVDs).
Taking the USB out and rebooting returns everything back to normal though.
Is there anything else i should be checking or anyone else experiencing the same?

NO. This is EXPECTED because NOBODY with F Bluray and enough linux/rooting skills was interested in fixing it

Do I have to do anything else but stick the usb in and cinavia is removed?

Yeah, and don't forget some incantations
Actually you first have to follow procedure from first post of current thread for rooting then, once rooted, follow
Cinavia removal one
