You can't chmod by FTP, Telnet only.

i do the Cinavia removal but it dosnt help for me ... ok i try it again
but its not a bd player its a tv and the cinava.txt is 0 byte on usb

I believe i got my BD-F6500 to root, but now it can't read any discs as i keep getting the dirty disc error (i tried with a bunch of different DVDs).

Taking the USB out and rebooting returns everything back to normal though.

Is there anything else i should be checking or anyone else experiencing the same?

NO. This is EXPECTED because NOBODY with F Bluray and enough linux/rooting skills was interested in fixing it :)

Yeah, and don't forget some incantations :D

Actually you first have to follow procedure from first post of current thread for rooting then, once rooted, follow Cinavia removal one :)
