[How To] Get root access on F series

And, did it work on 1117? I have a new UE40F6340 (also from Germany) and it came with 1117 installed. Curious about SamyGO but I think I need to read more about it first.

What I am unclear about so far:
- What is the best method now to install SamyGO and get root on the newest F series? USB install?
- what Software do I need on the PC side to synchronize Apps?

I really want to get rid of most of the preinstalled apps on that so-called Smart TV!

Thank you, it worked fine on my UE40F6340 (FW: 1117).

The only thing I was a little bit unclear about was the Skype Widget. The Skype App was installed out of the box. I started it once and logged in with my Skype account (necessary?). But I was not able to find a way to 'autostart' Skype, so I just closed it again and then proceeded with the SamyGO installation.

So far, SamyGO seems to work. I tested some of the web services. The thing I am after now is remapping some of the RC buttons, since the original remote setup is not very userfriendly. But that is another topic.

SamyGO Extensions work and its not open in my tv. only it has. but be root tv.
after pvr decoder worked. (after my modems NAT)

but, not work skype and tv guide. (in guide not tv s watch)
and every search open the channel info. (always)

if I need, how to unroot my tv?

Just delete the SamyGo Widget and restart tv

but you must be konow, not everyting clear. an axample, your computer IP not clear. If I recover default settings, not clear it.

today my tv is update the software. new software 1114 (EU55F7000)

not root after software.

I reset my tv and after setup the root and after pvrdecoder.

its working. and some problems haven't. (axample: channel guide Windows problem)
and skype and facebook not work.

I'm not sure if this is the right topic for my question, but...I want to buy F6750 and I want to use DVB-S.
PVR is not working when watching some coded program, right? Is there any way to enable it? I was trying to search this forum but couldn't find anything.
