Sorry, I have to chime in again.
I've done some more testing and have run into a strange problem:
I am trying to combine apps from different regions into a single smart hub. This used to work fine with previous version of the firmware. All I did was make a copy of the specific app folder and upload those folders back onto the tv over ftp.
But with 2000.2 this doesn't seem to work with every app. For example, I can reliably upload the BBC iPlayer or BBC Sports apps via ftp and have the apps appear in the smart hub. Other apps, like Hulu Plus, itv Player or 4oD won't show up anymore.
Any idea what's going on here?

Is there another way to get those apps to show up in the smart hub? Maybe manually editing the index.xml file or getting the apps into a "non-user" folder?
Would it help if I upload a working and a non-working app so that you guys can compare the two?

Nah, uploading itself wouldn't help and I don't have time to analyze it

Besides it's possible nothing can be done

Huh, now that is interesting: I've just realized that the apps seem to be somehow tied to the specific device that they've been first downloaded to. Maybe the app gets imprinted with the specific serial number of the tv set?
I have 3 different sized F6270 TVs with 32", 40" and 46" displays. Is looks like I can't use ftp to just get an app of my 46" F6270 and then put them on the 32" and 40" models of the same series.

Yeah it's very simple. First of all you have to replace the mst board to non-mst board. In some (all?) cases you might also have to buy front panel

After that you have non-mst TV

Hahaha... another possibility could be to rename the file for FW upgrade by removing MST

i tried to install this at my Samsung UE55F9090 with T-FXP9DEUC-2221.0
The installation was without problems.
But no root
Interesting was, that my TV at the restart means: "It was discovered a malicious program. Some functions may be limited."

This method is still in beta and might not work on E series (it's mostly for F). For E series use zero firmware do downgrade and use Skype rooting method

Can I use zero firmware with t-mst10, es6500?

But I am not able to get connected by ftp?
What is do do?
Is it possible only by lan or also with Wifi?
Thanks for all help . . .

First of all - use LAN if possible. If it works, then it have to work with wifi as well, but you have to set some delay in scripts.
