Yes, it works with BD-D5300 but apparently it can't enter service menu :(

Just rename .srf file to .ts (XFS possible for windows users using UFS explorer)

What is "Denny`s solution" ?

Is there anything else to to than rename .srf file to .ts to show recorded movies on other players ?

Hi guys,

such a great work you are doing!
I want to root my BD-D6900, but I am already on 2012/02/07_001009 - do I have to revert to an older fw or is it possible to root my device with that one?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I was trying to install SamyGO on my new Samsung BluRay player BD-D6900/ZF the same way I did it on my D-series TV,
everything went fine installing the widget, but when I select SamyGOE from SmartHub, I just get a blue rectangle on black screen saying:
"Extensins-Pack is Nested on this Device!"
What should I do to successfully root my device? I was searching the forum, but the only thing I found was to contact arris through PM with details of my device and UID of SmartHub.
Can you please help me? Thanks in advance!
I love SamyGO :)

@NeoMoucha:
It would be great if you can describe how you rooted your player and what firmware you are running.
If I get in rooting bd players, maybe I can support the community.

Well I am not sure if you understand me completely - I managed to install SamyGoE widget in Smarthub using the same procedure as for D series TV (http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rootin ... cpu_models),
but when I run the widget I just get the error I described above and the player is not rooted - can't connect through FTP etc. :(
I love SamyGO :)

Ahh, that link was all I wanted to know about, thanks!
I will try to get something done... (hopefully it works with 2012/02/07_001009 so far)
