Wow this is a fantastic tool!
Only 1 info: I bought a TV in the Slovak market (UE40D8000) but being an Italian, I haven't Italian localization for tuning channels. juuso

told me that with this method I can solve....and I will try.
But before I'll try, I would like to know one little thing: if something goes wrong, I can return the TV to factory-default settings??? ( I suppose to do so by clicking on "factory reset" in the service menu, right? )
Thanks for any info

@nirvana: I dont think that it change settings back to the one before - I have read that its only reset some user values. So make photos of all settings before you start to change anything.. and better not touch the calibration (ADC/WB) area!
@all
was somebody now able to unlock the expert menu?
and something will be nice: when everybody can share his default values with us - so in time of emergency/research we can take a look at them
I started with them there:

And dont forget to tell us about the exact model (best you make a photo of the sticker from back too).

Hello, I?ve moved to Florida, in the United States from Spain and I brought two UE40ES5500. I tried in Service Mode and with the ruSamsung pressing Factory and 3Speed, in this way I can change the Region (as Quattro1 and Moreins1), but I have whole Europe, Middle East, part of Africa and Asia, Australia, New Zealand... But in America I only can see Center America countries, I can?t find any channel in DTV (there are a lot, I checked with a local LG tv), and even there are some Apps, like VUDU that doesn?t work.
Can you help me to change the Region?
Thank you

I recently witnessed successful unlocking of the Locale and Info Link options in the Service Menu of a French Samsung TV model UE32ES6710SXZF (i.e. an E-Series ES6710), using a Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone's IR Blaster (infra-red LED) to send the relevant factory remote control key codes. Full details are at
viewtopic.php?f=52&t=4109&p=52952#p52952. N.B. The ruSamsungTVCommunicator Windows application was tried previously, and while it connected to the TV and could be used to send remote control key sequences, it appears that this model of TV/its firmware no longer accepts Factory and 3Speed codes via the network remote.
