i have to problems, the first is the wiki link for SamyGO Hospitality mode hack (for D6 series only) is down.

and second, my usb sticks after the dd if ... command is not recognized by the tv!

I tried this several times now without success

do you have any idea?

Hi geromme, wiki link on 1. page is working, you have to put the images you extracted from the archive to the stick, with dd but check before wich device your stick is.
what does your linux machine say about your stick is it recognized there?

Yes, it is tested on almost all D series models and firmwares. Risk of damaging is more or less theoretical, but exists.

Hack applied on UE46D6540 T-GASDEUC-1018.0 -> works perfect!

Must be this hack removed before updating to a newer (official) firmware version ? And if not (Auto-Update) is there any risk ?

As always - it is not recommended to make any upgrades of firmware.

is there any plan, when chaninfo and other nice features of the samygo extensions will be available in this firmware hack?

After using my kingston 16g for SamyGO Hospitality,,,
now i have problem with USB the size,, IT SIZE REDUCE FROM 16 to 70MB way?
I ALSO FORMAT the usb.
i use w XP.
