The available buttons on the remote control are mapped to the following keys:
remote: Red, Green, Yellow, Blue --> keyboard: Home, F1, F2 and Esc
remote: "ENTER" --> keyboard: z (if I knew why they did that...)
remote: cursor --> keyboard: cursor

From the source, I'd guess "z" was meant to replicate a mouse click, if there's only a keyboard connected.

I tried to access a TVersity server admin page, but it didn't load. The new Drivecast widget is also managed via the web, though I couldn't log in - maybe it needs https, or cookies.

@jw1001 new drivecast widget works but until now you can only upload & play music/video files no internet webradio yet....

No, but you can record internet radio for playback through the widget, and TVersity can stream radio through Media Play - web-access to these applications would complement existing TV features.

Note that if you stream radio through TVersity, it continues to stream after you close Media Play. The default time-out before it stops is quite long.
