FFB procedure without errors and sure working TV.
You install same as before, now - FFB tool does everything...

is it possible to install linux drivers on the TV?
I also have a Ralink RT2671 based adapter
or am I wasting my time and I must have rt2870 based adapter?

you can do the job: compile wifi driver against B series kernel sources. Maybe you get success?
No idea if rt2671 dongle will work, but worth to try.
