In my opinion is this application the greatest of all using SamyGO so far!
I am really enjoying it! Thanks a lot!
I have a small suggestion for next release - Would be great to be able to choose separate folders for tmp and decrypted output - for example on different physical drives to speed up the decrypting process a little bit :)
Anyway - thank you so much! Now I just wish my TV had a gbit network card :D

That would not help much... the processor is not fast enough to feed the interface with data so fast... That's why also NAS boxes (the normal ones, with affordable prices for common people) are pretty useless when it comes to transfer speed and why another PC with disks is still the best solution.

The tool is awesome, well done!. I haven't set up SamyGo on my TV, I just transfer my TV recordings from USB HDD using UFS Explorer. I transferred 4 files but only the smallest (about 189 meg- 5 mins long) worked. The larger files (about 1.2 gig - approx 30 mins each) decrypted to a file the same size but the new file says the video is about 20 hours longer than it should be? -All three play in media player as a blank 20+ hour movie and the following error appears in g-spot when clicking on proposed codec solutions and tests " Rendering failed. following error reported by Direct Show - 0x80004005:[unknown]. Any ideas as to why the larger files are not working?

Thankyou!

I tried the new version DeSTRoi 1.2.4, FTP File transfers are working now.
Decrypting still doesn't work, program isn't crashing anymore, but it creates a file which is identically to the original, still encrypted.

@shadowrunner
You Propably have a d series tv. It might be that you have to enable the af decryption.

@Sisternicky:

What is the secret about this adaptation field switch?
I am just curiousas I owe an UE46D8000 (using T-GAP8DEUC_1021.2, i.e. unfortunately w/o SamyGo) and tried your latest DeSTRoi release (by the way, and this also goes to Denny, merilix and Spoza: GREAT STUFF!!!) with some of my recordings yesterday (all 576i, as I still don?t have access to HD). I needed to un-tick this adaptation field switch, as otherwise the final file could not be displayed at all.
I mean, it does not mean a problem for me, as now I know how to use your program. But as you said that (most likely) all users of D type TVs would need to set this switch, I wonder what is different for me?

Another point: Would it be possible that you also decode the title info out of the *.inf files and show this within your file selection menu?
I could guess that this would mean a completely new file browser (I am not the SW programming guy).
But there is this other nice piece of SW from Ramses: the Samy PVR manager (viewtopic.php?t=3538), where this decoding is done.
Maybe this approach could be used in a similar way also within your DeSTRoi?
But this is just a question, as together with the PVR manager I already can get all details I need to know.
But it would complete your great tool.

The problem with encrypted adaptation field has been discovered a bit earlier in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2820&start=100#p29694
Not enough info available so far to be able to tell a pattern which TV models and/or firmwares have this bug and which don't.

To be honest, I would rather vote for adding the PVR decryption to SamyGO PVR Manager than improving DeSTRoi as I simply don't like the DeSTRoi's GUI and also its idea of renaming the downloaded recordings. But that's just my strongly subjective point of view ;-).

discovered but not really solved yet as it looks like this issue depends on different firmware versions. :(
So for now, there are 2 versions in my last attachment.
Just try which version is working for you ;)

I cant say AF-Decryption needs to be enabled for D-serie as i must not enable it for recordings from my D7 TV :)

:D alright, I didn't realized the new checkbox...
I have a D5700, and it works only with af enabled.

thanks!

But aren't those two pair of shoes?
I must admit, that I don't know what kind of possibilities SamyGo gives to you and whether therefore a combined tool makes sense (for me this option most likely is finally gone after the Firmware upgrade).
Therefore from my perspective, I see the PVR manager and DeSTRoi as tools that serve different applications and therefore also can exist independently.

With the PVR manager I want to modify info data of films I keep on the drive that is attached to the TV.
Those films do not necessarily need to get DRM decrypted (except that I want to be prepared in case my TV's main board crashes).

Only if I want to use those films on different players, or want to keep them on a burned disk, I need a DRM decrypted variant. But in this cases I do not care about the info data stored in the *.inf files (and all the other files that get created by the TV). Here I just want to have the decrypted film.

But sure, to have both functions combined in just one tool would be super cool. ;-)
