Do the "standard" keys work? (such as INFO_from_REMOTE_inv.wav) or is the problem only with FACTORY+3SPEED_inv.wav?

Nothing is working, the tv doesn't respond at all.

Are you sure your IR extender works at all?

Try using it as manual suggests. If it doesn't work contact samsung and request replacement :)

There's a way to know if it works: by filming IR extender (in darkness) while sending wave files... As most digital cameras catch infrared, he should see pink light from emitting LEDs on video playback :D

I will try tonight and keep you posted while waiting on my Samsung tab with IR blaster.

I wanted to alter the setting from Germany to Benelux for Ziggo, but the strangest thing happend, all of a sudden my CI module worked, have now all channels (Fox sports/HBO/Filmnet) in Holland with a Germany model, So the need to change is a little decreased :P

My grandma always said if it ain't broke, don't fix it

Hello

Owner of an old psp (the first), i've tried with IRSHELL and the code, and it work fine with my UE40H6500.

So if you don't have an S4, there's another solution.

Bye

After, before, during, disable them even if you don't change region :)
I'm trying to find some information on this. I have a F8000 series (UN55F8000) that I changed region from "Argentina" to "USA" with the Smart Hub remote combo (to have apps from USA region).

I need to update firmware because latest Netflix widget (v4) doesn't work with my current firmware. I'm on 1113 but the thing is that:

A) If I stay in the Argentina region, the latest update available shows 11117
B) If I stay in the USA region, the latest update available shows 1114

So, where should I upgrade from? What would happen if I upgraded while being on the USA region? I hope it wouldn't brick the TV. Specially because the region changing while on the Smart HUB policy agreement is documented by Samsung on their website, so if a user changed the region there and the forgot to disable auto update in setting, their TVs would brick!

Thanks, please let me know what you think as I can't use Netflix as of now and I haven't found any information on the subject.

Regards,

lcswz wrote:Ok, here's an even dumber question (sorry in advance).

I have bought a UE55H6500SL (eastern europe?) to be used in Italy.
I did select Greece as country to have my Italian channel listing (works)
I have changed Region for Apps download using the trick in the setup wizard.

Questions: should I try changing localset to Italy using the IR method or I'm not adding anything special to the TV features??

sorry if this a VERY very late reply. just stumbled upon your post and checked there was no answer..
you should really change the localset to country ITaly (EU_ITALY IIRC..) because this way you should get access to interactive apps ReplayTv on Ray and La7 TvonDemand so you can get very easy access to last week content from italian broadcasters (advertisement free BTW!)

hope it helps.

I have bought a UE46H7000 and it's sold as a UE46H7090SVXZG. For me living the Netherlands I couldn't get the SmartHub to install dutch apps. I tried the change store option at step 3 at the setup menu, and it showed me the menu, but as soon as I finish I end up with English apps. I tried the IR method with the external blaster from Samsung and playing a sound file from the pc.

First it didn't work, but then I noticed there was still a tiny bit of protect film on the ir blaster. After i removed it, the file INFO_FACTORY_INV.wav worked on the TV. I've changed the localsat to EU_BENELUX. and after a fresh restart and a factory reset I still ended up with USA apps.

Even when I combined it with the localsat setting including the smart hub location change, I still ended up with English apps. So i might think in this firmware there are no Dutch Apps somehow?

Are there any other possibilities to try for me?
