Playing with the patch I'm observing an odd behavior.
If I playing some Dolby Digital from HDMI, switch to TV (PCM) and then back to HDMI, no audio come to the digital receiver.
I have to enter the Tv menu, go to audio settings and re-select PCM as audio format, even if it's already there.
Any clue how to fix this?

In wait (?), you still can use libSpdifMode to quickly switch SPDIF mode without having to explore menu (I often need it despite workaround).

Maybe try without it. Else libSpdifMode is worth the try, remap an unuseful RC key. When I developed them, both patches were first meant to work together, even if they can work independently

For the record,
I've tried removing the `AUTO` switch (I currently have no options) and now it works as expected!!!
It was my fault, I didn't read carefully the options behaviour.
In my case since my HDMI source can output both PCM and AC3, depending on the content, it makes no sense to force AC3 on HDMI (as `AUTO` did).
As I change the content on STB the TV provides what's receiving from HDMI to Optical.
Let me thank you again for the wonderful work: at least for me, this is killer feature
I originally purchased a F6500 thinking that AC3 passthrough was the default (it worked out of the box on my old D6500).

"Errors" in log are expected, they're not errors but "other TV series" symbols not found on yours. You'll always see many "failed" in multi-series patches log...
What matters is result. Btw, seeing log you have injected too much
