What are you doing, is your matter, but I think Test 1) or Test 2) is better

The best solution would probably to setup an "official" SamyGo DNS server which blocks access to the various samsungotn.net URLs listed above. That way all people would have to do is enter a manual DNS server ip in the tv's network settings. No need to fiddle with router settings in such a solution.

Sorry, but you don't seem to understand how this works:
The DNS proxy is a server on the internet which resolves the url "samsungotn.net" to the corresponding ip address. We could setup such a DNS server ourselves for the SamyGo community and simply block every request that goes to the Samsung URL on the server level.
All you have to do is open up the network settings on your Samsung tv or blu-ray player and enter the address of the custom DNS server. This part is not depended on root being available on the device. It works everywhere.

And also i use an US Dns to watch the wwe network so the Router way is just fine

That's a point. My though was that using an DNS proxy was less difficult to setup for someone who's not that familiar with how routers work. But then again, everyone who's found his way to this board can be expected to be somewhat fit at doing stuff like that anyway...
