Cinv? is back in the firmware, though it says that now the version is 1011 (previously had 1012), cinavi? still showing up. What I don?t get it?s why it says that the version that is down load is 1090 (it should be 1009) one you accept the update (update 1011 for 1090) then said that the version that is install is 1011 instead. It?s driving me crazy this sh?
Why cin.. Keeps showing if version 1011 was relisted on June 2012, that was the version I updated when I bought the Bd back in Sept, supposedly the Bd brought version 1010 or 1009 with in and those version are from May. the first version is 1008 from April.
the version isn't 1009 its 1011 but the server tells your device it's 1090 so it accept it as update. after flash the device correct the versionstring to the correct one (1011)...

Ahh ok, clever way to full the system for the update, but the problem is that I couldn?t eliminate cin.. Problem, it keeps showing and muting the movie.

I see "B-BRCM55RBSP 1015 (success: pending)" on post one : I'm concern ? When will this one be back ?

this just means that server reported successful install but the user made no response in the forum...
btw. make a factory reset on your device and try again.
ps: there is no way to downgrade via usb...
So I try again but in vain. Factory reset + cold start +dns change + cold start again. Firmware update =>Connect to server => "No software to update by now" (translation of "pas de logiciel ? mettre ? jour actuellement".)
I don't understang what could be wrong....
How can I be sure it really connects your server?
And why is there no way to downgrade via usb (even If I could download your modified firmware?) ?

in this case your device should detect a new firmware.
you can check that your ISP let you direct connet to internet or just over proxy:
http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test
and you can test in windows cmd terminal that your ISP let you use other dns with:
Code: Select all
nslookup www.samsungotn.net infolink.samygo.tv
And why is there no way to downgrade via usb (even If I could download your modified firmware?) ?
why is the sky blue and not red? there are different methods for update from usb or via otn files are not compatible...

Can confirm that FIRHTSWWC on a HT-D6730W successfully downgraded.... however I cannot fully confirm cinavia free, as I don't have any known infected files available at the moment. But Just the downgrade is awesome!
Edit: Still have cinavia on the 1009 FW that was downloaded utilizing samygo's DNS server...

I wonder if there is some progress in enabling SamyGO on new E series blu-ray players? (BD-E8x00)
Or are we stuck at D series?

Thanks for any info.

I have a new BD-E5500/XU BluRay player but unfortunately I'm unable to downgrade the firmware using your method as my bl***y BT router won't let me change the DNS settings.
Is there any way that the 'update' to an older firmware can be applied using USB?
Many thanks for all the hard work.
