so you dont mean delete the file off the usb? i dont currently have ftp anymore so if you mean on the tv then i currently cant

Of course delete it from USB, did you see it anywhere else? Now you lost rost because you're on LAN without any cable plugged

im deffo on wifi, lan cable isnt plugged in...
ftp has come back up
all green again
telnet working on 23

You just shouldn't have blindly installed libNetSwitch because "you had seen some error in log".

Should I enable it again now?
I must have already had full root before, my main problem was trying 3123 which was at the bottom of samygo install screen, instead of the standard port 23 (3123 wont allow commands, port 23 does)... and 1080 in stead of port 8080 as you also pointed out give me the file manager access etc which i was yearning for ...

Yes you can re-enable libNetSwitch, of course only if you want to use LAN

I rooted my TV with the wifi methode and did the downgrade to the last working version with the skype methode.
I removed the root access with the rm command.

My problem now is that I wand to use the Skype methode. But Skype hangs up at loading. (I tried the Skype methode some time ago with the wrong firmware version and uninstalled skype then.) How can I bring skype up to live ot use the skype methode again?

I don't think you need a working Skype since the principle is to immediately break it

I know. the problem is before skype doesn`t work again, i am not able to install the root via the skype methode.

Why?
Well IIRC the known method to revive Skype is to change Smarthub region twice (to another, then back to your own).
