You have to modify only EXISTING file and put ID of lower version. Do not reboot TV, after you change ID, TV accepts lower firmware for upgrade.

You have to install official lower as is version firmware and you get change model in Service menu option enabled. After you change model, you might record digital channels to USB by pressing rec button on your RC.
Here is a guide.
I can just add: after you change firmware ID, do not reboot TV until you are sure, that you changed ID of main firmware, not of alternative (it must remain inactive).

Hi ,
I just buy a LE32C650 and I'd like to try "yokoloko85" solution to enable PVR function.
Could someone who already test it confirm which firmware have instaled?
My firmware is : T-VALDEUC 1011.1

what about bad sound when you change TV from C650 to C6800?
has anybody tried to change to some other model?
