No, it is not required if you get to console by ctrl+c
I do not know what is your problem now. Check - if you have network support and arfix2 working - it is ok. If not, must think... What version is being showing on firs page of SM? Could be, there is wrong firmware ID left.

Congratulations.
Arfix you can check in media player. Fix is hardcoded, because you do not have Content Library on TV. It is made by rvs2.

I have an LE40B550A5WXXH TV originally with T-CHL5DEUC-2009.0 firmware (2010/01/26_002009). Im not saw any other firmware and the alternative fw menu is grayed.
My question is: Is it good when I start from STEP2 in your guide?
Thanks in advance!
Csevi
yes

Re-partition your NAND, flash filesystem, boot partition, firmware, content library, rwarea and other required partitions to your TV.
I think it is possible only if you have softjig flasher, or you can program your NAND directly with other tools. The procedure is to dangerous over exlink, we have tried it once, bu without success - TV bricked
No reports about success.
