Hey Guys.
Who has hacked TV on the latest firmwares?
Maybe you could take a look over telnet if this trick actually works or not?

I would definitely try but as i mentioned above i cannot hack TV over hotel mode anymore, have to format that that partition but I don't have I don't have exLink cable.
Factory resent doesn't work by some reason but as i understand it should.

I was scared when saw your feedback. Is everything ok now? Does TV allow you to downgrade? Is it still rebooting after you switched off watchdog?
TV could reboot because of watchdog. Might is enough to remove this:

Code: Select all

onWatchDog();
To let watchdog off. Did you edit untouched widget or widget from dredkin?

Should i remove this manual?

If you still have probl, you should format your /mtd_rwarea/ - yes, do you have cable or not?

p.s. Tell, you have downgraded your firmware or not? we just know - you got probl because of watchdog, you solved it and...?
Please make clear because if my info helps to brick TV, it needed to be removed.

p.p.s. You could try to delete old widget hack with:

Code: Select all

FilePlugind.Delete("/mtd_rwarea/usb_mount/usb_hotplug.sh")

Do I need a file called Version_1000 on usb stick to copy?
Sure! if you didn`t place it, you deleted ID of firmware. It could be the reason of TV reboot too.
How careful do you read manuals?
Version_1000:

Code: Select all

 SWU_T-VALDEUC_001000_I04_ES000DS000KS000RS000_100205

This file is to place on root of USB
You brick TV, make things easy.

1. You have to use only fat32 USB, because ntfs on samsungTV is recognized only as readonly.
2. Try play with USB letters, maybe tv mounts other as sda1: sda sdb sdc sdb1 sdc1 and so on.
3. Who knows, might samsung disabled widget`s ability write/read files...
