Tried that also. No luck. I'm starting to suspect my optical-to-copper box (Zyxel ES-315-F) might have something to do with this, but this can be easily tested by connecting TV directly to my Linux box.
Anyone with UExxB7xxx got this working?

Hi nbd,
My tv is a UE40B7020, so, yes, someone has it working on such a model

.
It is connected to the net by the samsung usb wifi stick, through a static IP (my router's dhcp server sucks)
FW 2009.0
grtz,

Ok, got it working now.
Code: Select all
Client-The recv() is OK...
Client-Received: HTTP/1.1 200 OK
CONTENT-LENGTH: 255
CONTENT-TYPE: text/xml; charset="utf-8"
DATE: Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:47:24 GMT
EXT:
SERVER: Linux/9.0 UPnP/1.0 PROTOTYPE/1.0
<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"><s:Body><u:AddMessageResponse xmlns:u="urn:samsung.com:service:MessageBoxService:1"></u:AddMessageResponse></s:Body></s:Envelope>
I put an external wireless router between TV/Computer and Zyxel, so the Zyxel somehow filters those upnp messages.
