I know this post is old and someone has probably encountered this already. When trying to change model from D503 to UD5005, the only available option is UD5003. Changing to UD5003 does not make video option appear, still stuck with pictures, music and setup option in my USB menu. setup option is only referring to music setup and not TV

I have the same problem. Have you tried all the options?

I guess we may have later firmware which prevents us using this trick.

Probably, I believe I have tried every possible option but I do not seem to get around this. Unless there is a number of settings change that needs to work together. Hopeful some one will come up with the combination that works

Hello everyone.
I have a problem, changing the model of my TV LED D5003 to UD5800 to play videos from USB, also inadvertently change the "tuner" and now the image is upside down, and in contrast to the fullest. Terrible mistake.
I tried again after the process, but did not screenshots of the settings.
Anyone have the correct settings, to reload it?, Is this possible?

I've tried the factory reset, but still the same.

I changed my LE40D503 with the hidden menu to UD 5005 and it does play the video files.
Including mkv. I can bare large listing of non existing inputs.
The problem is now, the tv does an automatic downlight and uplight
Of the screen wich in hdmi(i use pc) is disturbing when whatching movies.
Thru the menu there is no option to turn it of. It comes default.
In the "secret menu" is there an option for this, and if so, which one.
