finally: worked with 20102011 and then 20089999

1198282 didn't worked at all.

I used always 2008999 becuase it says it in the wiki.. Sorry I havent tried with one more 9.

Still nothing that seems to change the region code. Isn't there a way to change it right in the OS itself I mean it's a linux... they probably just chmod the permission to that console options...

I'm surprised that they also have removed 'Info' : they cannot completely remove FaNet as it is used in some home automation systems.

In fact, Samsung really did remove the FaNet protocol
On my BD-E8300, since B-ECBHRDEUC 1011, FaNet doesn't work anymore...

However, it is still possible to enter into the setup menu with this

I confirm that FaNet doesn't work anymore on last firmwares.
On my BD-E8x00, this method still works.
If you don't have anything similar on your unit, I'm afraid you don't have any solution for now
