If you really want the tool now, you need to make it onto the samyGO donor-list

I'd like to have destroi for my ES8000, but I want to be sure it is working with my model.
I intend to use it to decrypt files from my recorded on TV flash drive on my PC. Can I do that or I need to have SammyGO installed on my TV?
Can you please confirm that destroi is working with ES8000? If yes, please let me know how to donate and how much.

This tool is not Destroi, and I am not the developer who originally made Destroi.

I am just someone with a Samsung TV that took it opon himself to create something SIMILAR to Destroi, but for the specific TV I own.
Searching the net I found this place, and finally found the guys with the knowledge I needed (to extract).
And as a tribute to those guys the tool is released in the samyGO context.

I cannot vouch for the tool on the E-series, but i will say that it has been intensively tested on the E-series by Zoelechat (user on this board).
Personally I use it every day on my F-series.

I see no reason that you shouldent be able to use the tool on your ES8000.

If you deside to go for it, you should already have your TV rooted, and please pay attention to your firewall ..
It must allow traffic on both port 21 and 23, and allow a Netcat-module to be loaded.

Same version as mine ES8000 - T-ECPDEUC, only mine is 1014.1.

Notice the version .. 2003.4 .. Notice yours ... biiiig difference.
My guess is that one firmeware is the official one, and one is a "homebrew" ..
Homebrew versions may offer "extended" functionality

Firmware 1014 for ES8000 is very old - aprox from Mid of 2012.... Mine (2003.4) was the one which my TV was deliverd Feb 2013. I updated to 2006 (for some reason LOL and SamyGO failed - the better USB install method was not released this time).
Then I had the possibility to change Mainboard and I got back 2003.4... Here is nothing modded... Beside of SamyGo now....

Had never Problems with 2003.4 and SamyGO or any of the Apps (for SamyGO) these awesome guys offer!

If you need FW T-ECPDEUC_2003.4 give me a call - I have it on HD.... But: Be sure what you do! Please do not make me responsible if something goes wrong.

Please do not understand the Wiki wrong! THIS procedure (shown there) don't work with ES - But the USB method works (for rooting and SamyGO)... Mostly!

Thank you for your answers.
I rooted my ES8000 by the USB method, and I connected it with samyGOPVRDecoder, but then samyGOPVRDecoder crashed: You can see that samyGOPVRDecoder recognizes my TV USB flash drive.
Any ideas?

It is a bug related to "empty-EPG" (no title) recordings, it is already fixed. You should expect an update on download page soon...

edit: FIXED, you can download latest version, should work
