sorry, no experience w/ evo kits.
you might try to "rmmod ARS_module", if that doesnt work, try insmod-ing SRS_module from samygo exts

This answer is for a guy that posted a complaint about aborted transfers.
Unfortunately I hit a wrong key at some point, and apparently got his post deleted .. Sorry dude !
The answer nonetheless is as follows ...

You have surely got a network issue.

My setup have the TV connected to my N-class router on 5Ghz Wifi
My PC is connected to the router on 2.4Ghz Wifi
My PC is the bottleneck as its netcard cant handle above 300Mbit
In this setup PC downloads from TV with speed around 100 Mbit (as log in PVRDecoder should show realtime).

You should try "standard" bugfixing procedure ..

Isolate problem .. Make minimum network .. one router, one tv, one pc .. use cables .. wifi later ..
Try alternative router .. [Insert any number of actions here] ... [Try harder] .. discard PC, discard TV, blow-up apartment.

When you reach a network-condition that sort of follows a math prediction (identify bottleneck (almost always a PC netcard))
you can expand network, and go wifi (identify bottleneck, remember that fulll speed requires different networks (2.4Ghz AND 5Ghz).

Come tell me how your network end up performing after you have identified the issue and have optimized .. 100Mbit is a bare minimum that should be tolerated

I have a problem with "Connection reset by peer"-Error messages and no automatic reconnect.
It occures about every once a hour.
If i restart the PVRDecoder it fixes the problem.

Cannot the PVRDecoder fix the problem by itself by reconnecting and go on decoding and ignoring the error?

I have to decode 500gb of movies in 160 single movies i recorded the last months.
I have to restarted already about 15 times and still 70 movies left :(
Its not very comfortable. It could be so easy - well it should be easy ;)
I would wish to start decoding of all my movies - let the TV and computer on - and wait 40hours.
But now - how i told - i have to restart the PVRDecoder every hour.

Any workaround for this i can do?
Can this be fixed?

Any smart scanner running scheduled to scan memory or something once pr hour, or something ?
Anything special going on at that time ?

its a absoltly clean winXP installation. I just got the netbook its running on some days ago and only installed the pvrdecoder.
Problem already happended with another computer.
So it must be something special with my network or the TV.

Sorry i have to explain the "once per hour" does not mean really once per hour but it feals like once per hour.
Its more random i think.

Fun is, i had the error last time directly on start of pvrdecoder.

But its a error which just need a restart of the program.
I hope for a error routine which catches the error and just goes on where it stopped.

Error may came in any station of decoding - in transmitting data or also in decoding.
But tool hangs with a error popup and a restart is needed to fix the error.

Somebody else here who successful decodes a lot of files at once without errors? >10-20 files?
I really have no idea what causes the problem in my configuration.

Well. I deactivated the windows firewall and currently its running since about 2 hours without an "connection reset by peer".
Maybe i fixed it already.
But a error catching and auto reconnect would be nice and maybe would fix other issues or for other users.
