Hello everyone!
I was wondering...
I have a UE40F6470, bought new this year. I have successfully recorded a short snippet on an external HDD and so far been able to copy the files to my computer (Win 7). In fact there are quite a lot of files.
- .cip
- .inf
- .mdb
- .mta
- .srf (which contains the actual recording, judged by the size)
- .ss
As I understand it from various posts, the .mdb-file contains the key.
Is it possible to decode my files offline with the .mdb as key?
Destroi is able to decode the srf to a .ts with the mdb, but the ts doesn't work properly (Destroi is quite old)
Can anyone help me?

You`re on proper topic. Please read first post.
With that tool you can decrypt your recordings.
But only ONLINE and only on rooted TV.

Hello,
I have SamyGO installed yesterday to decode recordings from my F-series Samsung SmartTV. So I tried with the PVRDecoder and in the first moment all works fine, get connected with TV, find USB device and the recordings on it. Now I wanted to decode a recording but the program freezes while loading the recording (typical windows "no response"). First I tried with a large rec. about 4 Gb, sometimes it freezes by 40 Mb and sometimes by 600 Mb. Afterwards I tried with a smaller rec. about 600 Mb (was from a diffrent channel too) but it happens the same.
I ran the .exe as administrator and pushed up the decode priority but it still happens the same.
Today I tried with a random 10 sec rec. about 30 Mb and it worked without any problems.
Is this a known problem or has anyone an idea of what it could caused ?
some information
Windows: Win 7
TV: Samsung UE22F5400 (via W-Lan connected)
I am thankful for any helpful answers.

@Flexus
You should check "PASV mode" in Settings->Other and try again.

I tried now 5 times with this option, but it still stops at diffrent points.
I read something about Ports for TV, may this could help?

If you're talking about FTP/Telnet ports, I believe you have no choice on basic SamyGO-F installation, only 21/23 are used.
If possible you should try on wired LAN instead of wireless, to be sure that's not simply a network problem...

Ok, the problem was as simple as the solution. I tried via LAN and all works perfectly without any abort.
I didn't expect that the W-lan connection is so unstable in my room, because the rooter is less then 3 meters away.
Sorry for dramatize because of such an simple issue but thanks again for fast help.

I can't connect with the TV (F6500, firmware: 1120). I uninstalled the antivirus, the TV is rooted correctly (skype doesn't work), ports are opened (look at screenshot).

-Having Skype not working does not necessarily means TV is rooted
-Having rules set in firewall does not mean ports are opened
